Happy Feast Day or Whatever It Is

Sorry for the late post everyone. Things have been busy, and I`ve been exhausted. Mostly because I`ve been taking anti-hestimines. But more on that later. Right now I want to talk about Thanksgiving in Japan!

First off, it`s actaully some holiday here today. I think it`s called feast day, and I haven`t had a chance to find anything out about it; to tell the truth both Thanksgiving and Feast Day snuck up on me. but from what I can tell, most white-collar folks have the day off and everything retail is open. In fact I`m typing this in big Apple Store (Not NYC, but the computer.) in Namba right now. See!

Those little stars arouns my head are actaully a concidental x-ray of my thoughts from the track-lights for the spiral stairs behind me. I`m looking bored because I`m on anti-hestimines, more on that later though. For the holiday though, I`ll be going out for an "authentic" turkey dinner. There`s a American owned Jazz club in Namba that has a T-day buffet. But I`ve eaten there before, and the food is Nipponized. Everything Western here goes through a bit of culture shock and then settles into a ebb and flow of Japan. For example, Kernal Sanders put on some weight:

And look who I found!

He must have came over here ages ago! Well, he`s not quite as sweet as he used to be, and he`s really into putting soft-boiled eggs inside of pastries (a little strange but delicious)..
